We all have something to bury
Collective performance, PAIR, Suikerunie terrain, Groningen, The Netherlands.

For the collective performance titled We all have something to bury I invited participants to bring their shovels and dig a hole.

A set of simple instructions was given to each attendant. These indicate how to dig and invite them to reflect upon something they would like to leave behind, write it on a piece of paper and bury it. Through this simple gesture, I aimed to create an intimate moment for each participant to connect, reflect and experience something by taking time for themselves.

This piece was inspired on a previous work, Digging a hole to tell you everything I needed you to know, in which you can see me, a hole to bury a letter addressed to a previous partner to whom I have no contact anymore.
