/ An appetizer to settle in

In your hands, you are holding a carefully crafted beverage,
to prepare ourselves for this evening.

A drink that will stimulate all our senses.
An elixir to feed our intuition and perception.
To awaken our curiosity and interior flame.

Because we are on this together,
I would like to propose a toast.

A toast to settle:
for grounding and connection,
for the here and now.

For the performers,
who will be sharing their work.
And for us present,
who made time and space to experience it.

I would also like to propose a toast
to not settle:
for movement & fluidity,
for new spaces & new beginnings,
for new energy & new possibilities.
